I make art that makes me happy, I hope I can make something that makes you happy too.

Rebecca Goodman is an artist born and raised on the Southern Gulf Coast of  Florida. She spent a lot of her childhood in and around the ocean and the natural places of Florida. She earned her bachelor's degree of Fine Art from Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Printmaking in 2015. Her current work is in the medium of copper plate etchings from which she makes editioned prints and mono prints. The subject of her work centers around the animals that live on this planet and their delicate relationship with each other, humans, and with our planet and the universe in general. Each etching is printed on Eastern Papers that are handmade in various parts of Asia. These papers, although delicate, are very strong, this parallels with the relationships of the natural world and adds a layer of depth to her work.

Rebecca is a member of the Gulf Coast Art Collective, a group of women artists who found support and community in each other as mothers and artists. Her work is also available for purchase at Cove on Bridge Street on Anna Maria Island, Florida
